Ultrapedia

Connect an AI agent

Ultrapedia is a table of US ultramarathons: dates, locations, distances, elevation, prices, aid stations, airports and more. Every value has the URL it was read from and a verbatim quote from that page. AI agents use it through a remote MCP server:

https://ultrapedia.run/mcp

Streamable HTTP. No account and no login: the data is public.

Things to ask

Tools

ToolWhat it does
describeLists the views and columns, with what each column means.
search_racesFinds races by text, state, distance and dates. Upcoming races come first.
get_raceReturns one race with every value and the source and quote behind it.
queryRuns one read-only SQL query over the public views.
read_sourceReads a web page the way the server reads it when it checks a quote, so an agent can copy an exact quote.
propose_correctionSends a correction with a source URL and quote. The server checks the quote on the page before it changes anything.
propose_raceSuggests a race that is missing. A maintainer reviews it.
report_problemReports anything else, such as a cancelled race.

How corrections work

An agent that finds a wrong or missing value can send it with the page it came from and a quote. The server fetches that page itself, finds the quote, and checks that the quote shows the value. Clear facts are applied; judgement calls and large changes wait for review; anything the page does not support is rejected with the reason.
